Hey! Jen here :)

I definitely have spent way too much time sitting and overthinking how I wanted to introduce myself. It was originally too formal, and I decided that I needed to change that. The point of this little blip is for me to give you a glimpse of who I am, and who you will be working with. I need to let you see me—just a little bit.

So, here we are, and here I am :)

I have been taking photos for nearly my entire life—ever since my dad showed me what a disposable camera was and how to use one. Photography is both an artistic and a communicative outlet for me.


After a few years of just taking photos for fun, I had money tossed at me after taking photos for someone else (literally! I didn’t want them to pay me!), and then things started to happen. I started taking more photos for other people. I started trying new things, and learning more about lighting and equipment. I discovered that it just felt REALLY good being able to use something I loved doing to bring joy to others.


I officially established my business in April of 2025, but I have been taking photos for others since 2013. 


I work a full-time job outside of my photography business at the moment, and I am a single mom, so my time is a little sparse but I make it work.


I finished my bachelor’s degree in business management in 2024.


I love overalls. 9 times out of 10, unless I am photographing a wedding or something else that requires a splash of professionalism, you will see me in overalls. They are comfy and they are handy. 


I love music and psychological thrillers.


I can’t dance.


I cry at weddings and births.


I love to travel (seriously, if you are eloping, please call me!).


I love to bake.


I am a Taurus, and an INFJ.


I love richness—vibrancy—depth. You will notice in my images that I try to give depth to them. I want you to FEEL when you look at them. I want to feel when I look at them. Which is ironic, because feelings scare me.
